“The 2023 schedule and results for the NCISAA fall sports championships.”


The state championships for most fall sports will be awarded by the N.C. Independent Schools Athletic Association this week, with the exception of football, which continues into November.

The state champions will be displayed below as they are determined.

The state champions for fall sports in the NCISAA class of 2023.

  • The girls’ golf teams from Durham Academy (D1) and O’Neal School (D2) are participating.

  • Girls golf (individual) — Jenna Kim, Durham Academy (D1), Victoria Davis, Cary Christian (D2)

The schedule for the 2023 NCISAA Fall Sports State Championship is as follows.

The championships are categorized by their respective sports and arranged chronologically.

Girls Golf

On October 23rd and 24th, which falls on a Monday and Tuesday, we will be at Keith Hills Golf Course in Buies Creek.

  • Division I
  • Division II

Cross Country

On Friday, October 27th, the location will be WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary.

  • At 9 in the morning, the 2A girls will be playing.

  • basketball

    9:45 in the morning — 2A boys basketball

  • 10:30 in the morning – Girls from 3A

  • basketball

    “3A boys basketball game at 11:15 a.m.”

    “The 3A boys basketball match will take place at 11:15 a.m.”

  • noon — 4A girls
  • 12:45 pm – Boys 4A

  • It is one thirty in the afternoon and the girls in class 1A.

  • Two fifteen in the afternoon – First grade boys (1A)

Field Hockey

Saturday, Oct. 28 — at Charlotte Country Day

  • 1 p.m. Eastern Time – Cary Christian vs. Charlotte Country Day

Boys Soccer

On Saturday, October 28th, there will be events taking place at various locations.

  • 1A: noon, at N.C. Wesleyan — (1) Crossroads Christian vs (2) Bradford Academy
  • Match (3) Carolina Day against (8) Davidson Day at 1 p.m. at Fayetteville Academy.

  • 3A: The game between Calvary Day and Cape Fear Academy will take place at 3 p.m.

  • Game 4A: Wesleyan Christian vs Rabun Gap, Ga. at 1 p.m.

Girls Tennis

On October 28th, Saturday, there will be events at various locations.

  • Academy

    At 1 p.m. on N.C. Wesleyan campus, Ridgecroft School will be playing against Cape Fear Christian Academy.

  • Match 2A: Gaston Day vs Trinity School of Durham-Chapel Hill at 11 a.m. at Cary Tennis Center.

  • School

    Game between (1) Cape Fear Academy and (3) St. David’s School at 11 a.m. on Saturday at Cary Tennis Center.

  • At 11 a.m. on Charlotte Country Day, it will be (1) Charlotte Country Day against (2) Providence Day.

Volleyball

“On Saturday, October 28th, the game will be played at the location of the higher seeded team.”

  • At 2 p.m., Pungo Christian will play against Albemarle School, with Pungo Christian being the second seed and Albemarle School being the first seed.

  • On 2A at 1 p.m., Trinity Academy Raleigh will be hosting Davidson Day.

  • At 4 p.m. on the third of August, the Wake Christian team will play against the GRACE Christian of Raleigh team, who is ranked first.

  • 4A, 2 p.m. – The North Raleigh Christian team will be playing against the Cannon School team at 2 p.m.

Football

On Friday, November 17th, events will take place at various locations.

  • Eight-man game – location TBD, on neutral ground.

  • 11-player Division 1 – at a higher ranking location

  • D2 11-player tournament – with a better ranking team
