The 2023 NCHSAA girls’ tennis state championships will feature a set schedule and take place at a specific location. Tickets will be required to attend the event and there are various ways to watch the matches.


The pairings and timetable have been established for the N.C. High School Athletic Association’s state championships for girls tennis teams.

The regional championship concluded on Wednesday night, and now the victorious teams from each region will face off in the championship matches for four different classifications.

The state championships for girls’ dual-team tennis will take place on November 4th at the Burlington Tennis Center. Spectators can attend the event for free, but it will not be broadcasted or live streamed.

The state championships for 1A and 3A will start at 9:30 a.m., followed by the 2A and 4A championships at around 12:30 p.m.

9:30 AM:

  • 1A Championship: (1) Voyager Academy vs. (1) Mount Airy
  • The 3A Championship game will feature a matchup between (1) Terry Sanford and (2) Lake Norman Charter.

12:30 PM:

  • The 2A Championship game will feature a matchup between Research Triangle and the winner of the Salisbury vs. Hendersonville game, which are seeded 5th and 3rd respectively.

  • /(5) Pinecrest

    The 4A Championship will feature a matchup between (1) New Hanover and the winner of the games between (4) Myers Park and (5) Pinecrest.

The 2A West regional championship game between Salisbury and Hendersonville has been rescheduled for 1 p.m. on Thursday.
