Raleigh, N.C. — It’s only fitting the Carolina Hurricanes open the 2024 Stanley Cup Playoffs on a Saturday night in Raleighwood.
The NHL announced the dates, starting times and national television coverage for the Eastern Conference Game 1s of the first-round, which begins Saturday, April 20. Game one between the Hurricanes and the New York Islanders will start at 5 p.m. E.T. at PNC Arena.
