SD Eibar is a soccer team based in the city of Eibar, Spain. They currently compete in the Spanish Primera Division. The club was established in 1940 through a merger of Deportivo Gallo and Union Deportivo Eibaressa, and was originally known as Eibar Futbol Club.

Eibar has a history of being actively involved in the lower divisions of Spanish football before earning a promotion to the Primera Division in 2013/2014. The team plays its home games at the Estadio Municipal de Ipurua in Eibar, which has a capacity of 5300. Currently, Eibar is one of the smallest teams in the Primera Division.

The dominant hues of Eibar’s club are blue and red. Eibar is also recognized as the Armaginak or the Armeros, which translates to “the Gunners.” Eibar has displayed an impressive performance in the Primera Division thus far.
