The Triad’s Boys Basketball 336 Watch List features a majority of the top players from the previous year.

HighSchoolOT is currently providing a sneak peek of the upcoming boys basketball season through its yearly watch list for the six area codes in the state.

The 336 region code includes Guilford, Forsyth, and Alamance counties, as well as Person, Caswell, Rockingham, Surry, Stokes, Alleghany, Davie, Davidson, Randolph, Wilkes, Yadkin, and Ashe. According to our initial rankings, Reidsville is the top team in the 336 area code and is placed fifth in the overall statewide rankings.

This is important information about HSOT Watch Lists.

  • In contrast to previous years, there was no predetermined amount of athletes for each team.

  • Placement on the HSOT Watch List is taken into consideration for future recognitions such as HSOT All-State and HSOT Honors.

  • The final rankings and all-state team from last year can be found at the end of this article, along with the preseason rankings for this year.

  • If any athlete below has been transferred during the offseason without our knowledge, please inform us at [email protected].

Several of these athletes were selected for the HSOT All-State Team last year. The HSOT All-State team for boys’ basketball has been announced for the 2022-23 season.
