The East Forsyth sophomore WR Jaire Richburg has received an offer from Duke, making them the second school to extend an offer to him.


Jaire Richburg, a sophomore wide receiver at East Forsyth, has received his second offer from an ACC school and his first from a school in his home state.

A few weeks following Boston College’s initial offer, Duke also extended an offer to Richburg on Monday. Duke’s existing roster includes freshman Sean Brown, a former wide receiver from East Forsyth.

Richburg is a 6-foot-4 dual-sport athlete.

During this current season, Richburg has successfully received 30 throws totaling 409 yards and earning six touchdowns. East Forsyth concluded the regular season with an impressive 9-1 record and were crowned champions of the Central Piedmont 4A Conference.

The basketball team at East Forsyth had a record of 22 wins and 7 losses during the previous winter season, with a conference record of 13 wins and 4 losses. Unfortunately, they were defeated by North Mecklenburg in the third round of the N.C. High School Athletic Association 4A state playoffs.
