The 2024 HighSchoolOT All-State Boys Basketball Team

The 2024 HighSchoolOT All-State Boys Basketball Team

The fourth-annual HighSchoolOT boys basketball all-state team features 29 athletes making an appearance on the team for the second or third time, led by five players who became three-time all-state honorees. Those players are all in the same talented senior class: Richmond’s Paul McNeil Jr., Northwood’s Drake Powell, North Mecklenburg’s Isaiah Evans, and Myers Park’s Sir Mohammed and Bishop Boswell.

Evans was this year’s NCBCA POTY and Gatorade POTY. Powell and Evans were named McDonald’s All-Americans.

There is a first, second, and third team with 15 players each followed by an Honorable Mention list of 30 players.

Only players from scholastic-based associations are considered. Reclassified players are only eligible until they reach their fifth year of high school, meaning no fifth-year seniors can make the team.

Players are listed with their averages in points, rebounds, assists, steals, and blocks, so long as they were more than 1.0 per game. Averages without decimals were inexact calculations reported by coaches or other official sources, while all others came from MaxPreps or coaches.
