Players to Watch in Boys’ Basketball from Fayetteville to Wilmington: 910 List

HighSchoolOT is providing a sneak peek of the upcoming boys basketball season by releasing its yearly list of players to watch from all six area codes in the state.

The 910 region code encompasses the Sandhills and southeastern areas of New Hanover, Cumberland, and Onslow counties, as well as Harnett, Moore, Sampson, Brunswick, Pender, Duplin, Columbus, Robeson, Bladen, Montgomery, Richmond, Scotland, and Hoke. According to our preseason rankings, Richmond holds the highest position for boys basketball teams in the 910. They also rank ninth overall in the state for the start of the season.

Here is the important information to understand about HSOT Watch Lists:

  • In contrast to previous years, there was not a designated number of athletes for each team.
  • The Watch List categorizes athletes by their county and arranges them in alphabetical order.

  • Being included on the HSOT Watch List can impact future recognitions, such as HSOT All-State and HSOT Honors.

  • The previous year’s all-state team and end-of-year rankings can be found at the end of this article, along with this year’s preseason rankings.

  • If any athletes below have been transferred during the offseason without our knowledge, please inform us at [email protected].
