NC State has extended an offer to Zaid Lott, who is expected to be the next quarterback for Providence Day.
Sophomore student Zaid Lott from Providence Day School revealed that he has been presented with an opportunity from NC State University.
He posted the update on his X profile.
Lott is expected to be the starting quarterback for Providence Day. Over the last three seasons, the Chargers were led by Jadyn Davis, who is now a 4-star recruit for Michigan. Under Davis’ leadership, the team won the state title in Division I for the N.C. Independent Schools Athletic Association each year.
Lott currently has four verbal offers, with NC State being the latest addition, despite not having played a varsity game yet. Charlotte, Boston College, and Florida State had previously extended offers to him.
Lott’s height is recorded as 6 feet and 4 inches, and he weighs 200 pounds.
Lott has thrown for a total of 446 yards, three touchdowns, and zero interceptions in his limited playing time. Last year, he completed 80.8% of his 26 attempts and has also scored two rushing touchdowns.
