On Saturday afternoon, No. 11 Green Hope won all of their matches against D.H. Conely and will now move on to the regional championship match.

Green Hope dominated the first set against D.H. Conely, winning 25-19. Falcon Belle Patrick stood out with numerous kills throughout the match. Green Hope maintained a strong lead throughout the set, with at least a five-point advantage during any breaks in play.

In the second round, D.H. Conely appeared to still be adjusting. During the initial break, Green Hope held a 9-4 advantage. The biggest lead Green Hope held in this set was 19-9. Setter Marlee Cook also contributed to the team’s kills. She caught the Vikings off guard with swift attacks right at the net.

The last round was highly intense. D.H. Conely demonstrated their determination to not give up easily. The game was evenly matched with neither team gaining a clear advantage until the first pause. Green Hope took the lead at the first pause with a score of 16-13 and eventually widened the gap to 22-16.

Britni Silver spearheaded the Vikings’ comeback in the later part of the match. Despite D.H. Conely’s attempt to catch up, they were unable to win the third set. Green Hope emerged as the winners with a final score of 25-23 in the third set.

The regional championship match will feature No. 11 Green Hope against the winner of the match between No. 1 Middle Creek and No. 12 Green Level.
