Villarreal, in good form, hopes to continue their success in the Europa League against Maccabi Haifa in a rescheduled match. The team has secured their spot in the knockout rounds, but they have their sights set on surpassing Rennes to claim first place in Group F. Under the leadership of Marcelino, Villarreal has been consistently scoring goals and we expect them to maintain their aggressive approach in this game.

Etienne Capoue, a skilled midfielder, is highly anticipated to rejoin the starting lineup. However, due to injuries, Mandi, Pino, Sorloth, and Suarez will likely not be playing. Despite Maccabi Haifa’s recent three-game winning streak in their national league, their performance in the Europa League loss to Rennes (0-3) was subpar. Therefore, we believe it would be wise to place a bet on the La Liga team. Unfortunately, Shon Goldberg and Sun Menahem are both injured and will not be able to play for the visiting team.

Aissa Mandi was developed through the youth academy of Reims. He began playing for the first team in 2010 after appearing in eight matches for Reims II during the 2009/2010 season. On 20 August, 2010, Mandi made his debut for Reims against Le Havre and continued to play for the club until June 30, 2016. He then made the decision to join Real Betis in Spain.

The Algeria international, who was born in Chalons-en-Champagne, France, signed a five-year contract with los Beticos which expires on 30 June, 2021. His main position is centre back, but he is capable of playing as a full back as well. The right-footed defender made his Algeria debut on 5 March, 2014 and he helped the Algerian national team keep a clean sheet in a 2-0 win over Slovenia.

In the 2014 FIFA World Cup held in Brazil, Mandi made a notable performance. However, it wasn’t until the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers match against Ethiopia that he scored his first goal for Algeria in a 3-3 draw. He also represented Algeria at the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations.
