On November 30, 2023, there will be a football match between AEK Athens and Brighton. Our prediction and betting tips for this event are not available for rewording.

Our forecast for the upcoming Europa League game is:

AEK Athens

AEK Athens

Brighton

Brighton

The atmosphere at OPAP Arena will be charged as AEK Athens takes on Brighton in round 5 of the Europa League group stages. The Yellow-Blacks have their sights set on surpassing Brighton for second place in Group B, but Thursday’s match will be a tough challenge. Goalkeeper Cican Stankovic is eligible to play again after serving a suspension, but forward Paulo Fernandes will still be out due to injury.

The Seagulls, however, are full of assurance after a comeback victory against Nottingham Forest in the Premier League. With Brighton’s strong attacking abilities, we see betting on both teams to score as a highly valuable option. Unfortunately, Ansu Fati and Tariq Lamptey suffered injuries in their last league game, but Mahmoud Dahoud and Lewis Dunk are now available after serving domestic suspensions. Players such as March, Enciso, and Mitom are still recovering from injuries. In their previous encounter in England, AEK Athens beat Brighton 3-2.

This game is scheduled for November 30, 2023 at 6:45 PM.

Prediction:
2-2

Joel Veltman

Joel Veltman, a football player from the Netherlands, was born in Velsen on January 15th, 1992. He began his training at VV Ijmuiden and was discovered by Ajax scouts in 2011. During the 2012/2013 Eredivisie season, he played for the first team and had seven appearances for the Amsterdammers at that time.

The defender, who also plays as a right back, has played in six games for Jong Ajax and scored one goal in the Eerste Divisie. Veltman has represented the Netherlands U20 team in 8 matches and made his debut for the senior team in November 2013 against Colombia. He started the game and played the full 90 minutes in a scoreless draw against the South American team.

In the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil, Joel Veltman played for the Dutch team. It is worth mentioning that during the 2015/2016 Eredivisie season, the Dutch defender made 34 appearances for Ajax and scored one goal. He also won his second Eredivisie title with Ajax in the 2013/2014 season.

The team in focus (AEK Athens):

AEK Athens

Founded in 1924, AEK Athens is among several Greek teams situated in Athens. The Enosis, recognized for their devoted followers, has Original 21 as their primary supporters’ faction. AEK Athens wears black shirts with yellow stripes and black shorts for their home matches, but they opt for gray jerseys and yellow shorts when playing against their opponents at their opponents’ turf.

The club’s home field is the Olympic Stadium in Athens, which has a capacity of 69,618 people. AEK has rivalries with other clubs from the capital, including Panathinaikos and Olympiakos. The rivalry with Olympiakos intensified in 1996 when a former player and coach for AEK joined the Thrylos. AEK has won 12 Greek Super League titles, but their last domestic title was in 1994.

Speaking of the Greek Cup, the Enosis won their 15th trophy in the competition in 2016, with the team beating Olympiakos in the title game. In the 1966/1967 season AEK made it to the UEFA Cup semis, but Italian giants Juventus proved to be a big catch for the Greek side.
