On November 19, 2023, there will be a football match between Liechtenstein and Luxembourg. Here are our predictions and betting tips for the game.

Our forecast for the upcoming Euro 2024 game:

Liechtenstein

Liechtenstein

Luxembourg

Luxembourg

Sunday’s Euro 2024 qualifier between Liechtenstein and Luxembourg will take place at Rheinpark Stadion. These two teams were unable to secure a spot at next year’s main event. Luxembourg, however, has been performing well in the qualifying rounds with 14 points and their impressive 4-1 victory over Bosnia. This makes an away win a strong possibility. Good news for the visiting team as Vincent Thill will be back from suspension.

However, Liechtenstein currently occupies the bottom spot in Group J. As they prepare to host Luxembourg, their weak defense leaves little room for error and a victory would be unexpected. The home team does not have any new injury concerns leading up to their final group match, but midfielder Livio Meier is likely to rejoin the starting lineup after being substituted in their 2-0 defeat against Portugal.

This game is scheduled for November 19th, 2023 at 8:45 PM.

Prediction:
0-2

Highlighted Team (Luxembourg):

Luxembourg

The Luxembourg Football Federation manages the Luxembourg national football team, who hosts their matches at Stade Josy Barthel. Despite never reaching the finals of a major tournament, the team, known as Les Lions Rouges, often poses a challenge for European teams during qualifiers.

Luxembourg emerged victorious against Macedonia in the Euro 2016 qualifiers, however their most significant achievement is defeating Czech Republic in the 1996 European Championship qualifying match. The team, also known as Les Lions Rouges, dons red shirts and red shorts for their home games, but switches to white jerseys and white shorts for away matches.

Jeff Strasser is known as the most renowned and experienced player from Luxembourg, having played 98 games for the national team. A noteworthy moment for Luxembourg was their 6-0 victory over Afghanistan in a match held in London in 1948. However, they also faced their biggest defeat at the hands of England, losing 9-0 twice (in 1960 and 1982).
