Jack Bonham

Jack Bonham, a 26-year-old athlete, was born in Stevenage, England on September 14, 1993. Despite being born in England, he is an Irish International and has played in five games for the Republic of Ireland’s Under-17 team.

He started his youth career with Watford at the club level and signed his initial professional contract at 17 years old in September 2010. Bonham’s debut as a professional player was on May 4, 2013, when he came in as a substitute for the final game of the 2012-2013 Championship season against Leeds United.

This appearance marked the 1.92 m standing goalkeeper’s only appearance in a Watford shirt. Bonham then went on to play for clubs like Brentford, Carlisle United and Bristol Rovers before eventually joining Gillingham at the start of the 2019 season on a two-year contract. He’s since featured nine times for the club and kept two clean sheets.

Highlighted Team (Plymouth):

Plymouth

Plymouth, also known as the Pilgrims, is a professional football team that plays their home games at Home Park. The stadium, with a capacity of 18,600, was constructed in 1892 and inaugurated the following year. When playing in front of their home crowd, the players don dark green jerseys and white shorts, while their away kit features light green and white as the main colors.

The Pilgrims achieved a spot in the FA Cup semi-finals during the 1983-84 season. They also reached the semi-finals of the Football League Cup twice, in 1964-65 and 1973-74. On January 16, 1932, the Pilgrims secured their largest victory over Millwall with a score of 8-1. This feat was repeated in 1994 when they dominated Hartlepool United in the Second Division.

On December 17, 1960, the club experienced their most significant loss of 0-9 against Stoke City. The team’s strongest rivals are considered to be fellow Devon teams Exeter City and Torquay United.
