Huesca are a Spanish club that compete in La Liga, the Spanish top flight. The club was originally founded in 1910, but in 1940 it was renamed Union Deportiva. In 1956 the club disappeared due to financial problems, but four years later Sociedad Deportiva Huesca was born. Huesca are well known for their blaugrana colors as their founding members were Barcelona fans.

The opposing team was welcomed by the club at El Alcoraz, with a stadium capacity of 5,500. Interestingly, in December 2014, a total of 7,600 spectators attended the match between Huesca and Barcelona, surpassing the maximum capacity of El Alcoraz. Huesca will be making their debut in the Primera Division during the 2018/2019 season.

Leo Franco, Luis Sastre, and Ruben Castro are among the well-known football players who have competed for Huesca. Huesca’s biggest rival is Real Zaragoza, and the two teams regularly meet in the Derbi Aragones.
