An official recommends that the Polish president review their social media security following a strange tweet from their personal account.

The minister of digital affairs in Poland proposed on Friday that President Andrzej Duda verifies the security of his social media accounts, following a strange tweet that was promptly deleted.

The message shared on Duda’s personal Twitter account on Thursday read: “Inquire with his wife for the definition of ‘having balls’. She is aware!”

The post was swiftly removed, however, screenshots were captured and circulated by internet users, causing both entertainment and rebuke for the leader’s lack of caution on social media.

Duda’s office has not explained what the message published on X, formerly Twitter, referred to, nor did it explain how it was published.

The opposing political party, under the leadership of Prime Minister Donald Tusk, advised the president to be more careful and offered assistance with ensuring security.

“Minister of Digital Affairs Krzysztof Gawkowski tweeted that he had requested President Andrzej Duda to review the security of his social media accounts as there was a brief appearance of an abnormal post on the X website.”

Previously, Duda interacted with unidentified individuals on social media. He also received phone calls from Russian pranksters posing as the Secretary-General of the United Nations and the President of France.
