Every year, HighSchoolOT offers thorough predictions for the NCHSAA’s seeded playoffs. This season, we are sharing those projections with HSOT Insiders for the dual-team wrestling playoffs in all divisions.

Projections are dependent on the RankWrestlers system, which is updated in real-time.

To determine initial placement, conference winners will be given top priority and ranked according to their RankWrestlers ratings. After that, the remaining schools will be seeded according to their RankWrestlers ratings, but only if they are the next eligible team in their respective conference. Teams will continue to be chosen until the bracket is complete. The seeding process will be conducted separately for the west and east regions.

Wrestling fields a 32-team bracket in 4A, 3A, and 2A (16 in both East and West regions) while 1A has 24 total (12 each).

Dates for the Dual-Team Wrestling Playoffs

• On Thursday, January 25, the official brackets were released by NCHSAA.

• On Saturday, January 27, the first and second rounds will take place.

• On Wednesday, January 31st, there will be regional semifinal and final matches.

• On Saturday, February 3rd, the State championships will be held at the Greensboro Complex Fieldhouse.
