The NCAA Women’s Basketball NCAA Tournament tips off Wednesday night, and 13 of the 68 teams will represented by former N.C. high school basketball players.

Here are this year’s former North Carolina high school basketball players whose teams qualified for the 2025 Women’s March Madness.

Regional 1 – Spokane

(2) N.C. State: #3 Zamareya Jones (North Pitt), #22 Saniya Rivers (Laney/Ashley)

Notes: Jones and Rivers are former HighSchoolOT all-state players.

Regional 2 – Spokane

(16) UNC-Greensboro: #1 Jayde Gamble (Holly Springs), #13 Joelle Davis (Durham Academy), #14 Kennedy Simpson (Mallard Creek), #15 Khalis Cain (Mt. Zion), #44 Nia Howard (Jordan)
(5) Kansas State: #32 Imani Lester (North Raleigh Christian)
(4) Kentucky: #7 Teonni Key (Cary), #10 Dazia Lawrence (Mallard Creek)
