Simmons is a rising senior from the Class of 2025 who stands at 6-foot-3 and 170 pounds.

As a junior last fall, Simmons completed 136-of-269 passes for 1,999 yards and 19 touchdowns. He also recorded 711 rushing yards with 15 touchdowns, including two games where he rushed for more than 100 yards.
