North Carolina State swimming and diving head coach Braden Holloway will join Team USA as an assistant coach for the women’s team at next month’s Olympics in Paris.

Holloway, a 10-time ACC coach of the year, is one of six coaches for the men’s and women’s teams. Holloway was the men’s head coach for Team USA at the 2022 World Championships and the 2019 World University Games.

The NC State men won their 33rd ACC championship this season and a ninth-place finish at the NCAA championships.

NC State swimmer Katharine Berkoff made the team in the 100m backstroke.

Former NC State swimmer Ryan Held, who won a gold medal in the 4×100 freestyle relay in 2016, is headed back to the Olympics. He made the freestyle team again, after barely missing out for the Tokyo Games.

USA Swimming announced the members of the men’s and women’s Olympic teams Sunday.
