Union Pines takes No. 1 in final boys dual-team rankings for 2024-25

Union Pines ends the year as No. 1 team in HighSchoolOT’s statewide high school boys dual-team wrestling statewide rankings for the 2024-25 season.

The Vikings won the N.C. High School Athletic Association 3A championship. This is the first time Union Pines has finished first in any HighSchoolOT ranking in any sport.

Union Pines is followed by 4A champ Cardinal Gibbons, 1A champ Uwharrie Charter, 4A runner-up Hickory Ridge, and Hough.

Former No. 1 teams include Eastern Guilford (2024), Northwest Guilford (2023), and Fred T. Foard (2022).

R-S Central, the 2A champ, is sixth.
