UNC football announces first group of new players under Bill Belichick :: WRALSportsFan.com
The UNC football team is adding 21 new players, the team officially announced on Wednesday afternoon. It’s the first group of additions to the team since new coach Bill Belichick took over in December.
“We’re excited to welcome 21 new players to UNC-Chapel Hill,” Belichick said in a statement. “Their integration with our current roster marks a significant step forward as we work together to elevate our program in the right direction.”
The group is made up of four high school players, including in-state quarterback Bryce Baker, and 17 transfers.
Seven players signed with UNC before Belichick was hired.
