With new Average Daily Membership numbers released for the 2024-25 school year, we’re diving into deeper segments of the N.C. High School Athletic Association population.

This is a breakdown of this year’s football playoff teams and the classifications that they’ll fall into next year based on the new ADMs. For the first time in history, the NCHSAA is expanding from four classifications to eight.
