The ultimate standings for Girls Basketball: Grace Christian maintains the top spot throughout, with North Pitt and other teams taking the lead in their respective areas.
Grace Christian of Sanford finished at the top spot in the HighSchoolOT statewide top 25 rankings, maintaining their position as the No. 1 team throughout the season. They secured their spot as the top team by winning the N.C. Independent Schools Athletic Association 3A championship.
The top five teams in the final top 25 were all champions — No. 2 West Rowan won 3A, No. 3 North Pitt won 2A, No. 4 Cherokee won 1A and No. 5 Rolesville won 4A. Other champions included No. 10 Cannon School (NCISAA 4A), No. 23 Cresset Christian (NCISAA 1A), No. 25 The O’Neal School (NCISAA 2A).
Last year’s top-ranked team, Panther Creek, placed sixth.

Out of the initial preseason top 25 teams, a total of 17 teams retained their rankings in the final statewide rankings. Interestingly, Cherokee, who was not initially ranked, ended up being the highest-ranked team. Among the preseason top 10, six teams maintained their positions in the top 10, while one team fell to 13th.
