The schedule for the Wake County girls flag football team on Saturday, January 27th is listed below.

The second day of the Wake County girls flag football season will take place on Saturday, with tournament matches being held at two locations throughout the day.

Middle Creek High School and Rolesville High School will serve as hosts for the second weekend of competition. Each site will host a double-elimination tournament.

The games will start at 9 a.m. at both venues, and the final games will commence at 2 p.m.

Last Saturday, the initial round of competitions occurred at Athens Drive High School and Green Level High School. The outcomes can be viewed here, and HighSchoolOT’s team rankings are available here.

After evaluating teams’ performance in their pools, they will be ranked and placed in a playoff bracket for SupHer Bowl Saturday at Athens Drive on February 10th. All teams will participate in the following week’s matches, regardless of their success in the current double-elimination tournaments.

FIELD 1

9:00 am – First game between Fuquay-Varina and Knightdale.

The third game, South Garner versus Willow Spring, will start at 10:00.

The fifth game at 11:00 will be between Middle Creek and the winner of Game 1.

The seventh game at noon will feature the losing teams from Game 2 and Game 3.

1:00 – Match 9 – Victorious Team from Game 3 versus Victorious Team from Game 5

2:00 PM – Match 11 – Defeated Team from Match 5 versus Victorious Team from Match 7

FIELD 2

At 9:00, there will be a game between East Wake and Athens Drive.

At 10:00 AM, there will be a game between Wakefield and Millbrook, which is Game 4.

The sixth game of the day at 11:00 will feature Holly Springs against the winner of Game 2.

12:00 — Game 8 — Loser Game 1 vs. Loser Game 4

“The winner of Game 10 is the winner of Game 4 versus the winner of Game 6 at 1:00.”

The twelfth game at 2:00 will feature the loser of Game 6 against the winner of Game 8.

FIELD 1

At 9:00, there will be a game between Southeast Raleigh and Rolesville.

The third game, Broughton vs. Heritage, will start at 10:00.

At 11:00, there will be a game between Apex and the winner of Game 1.

At 12:00 PM, there will be a Game 7 between the losing teams of Game 2 and Game 3.

“At 1:00, the ninth game will be played between the winner of Game 3 and the winner of Game 5.”

The eleventh game at 2:00 will be between the loser of Game 5 and the winner of Game 7.

FIELD 2

The second game, Enloe vs. Sanderson, will start at 9:00.

10:00 — Game 4 — Panther Creek vs. Green Level

The sixth game at 11:00 will feature Cardinal Gibbons and the winner of Game 2.

The eighth game at 12:00 will be between the losing teams from Game 1 and Game 4.

The tenth game at 1:00 will be between the winner of Game 4 and the winner of Game 6.

At 2:00, there will be Game 12 between the losing team from Game 6 and the winning team from Game 8.

This year, Wake County Schools introduced a girls flag football program with the help of a $50,000 donation from the Carolina Panthers. The district now joins Cabarrus, Mecklenburg, and Union counties in providing this sport. New Hanover County will also be joining later in the year.
