According to multiple media reports, the Carolina Panthers have reached a three-year agreement with free agent defensive tackle A’Shawn Robinson.

According to Mike Garafolo of the NFL Network, the agreement is valued at a maximum of $22.5 million.

The deal cannot be considered official until Wednesday, when the league year begins.

Robinson was a member of the New York Giants during the 2023 season. Prior to that, he had played with the Los Angeles Rams from 2020 to 2022 and with the Detroit Lions from 2016 to 2019.

Robinson and Panthers defensive coordinator Ejiro Evero are reunited, as Evero previously served as a defensive coach for the Rams from 2017 to 2021.

Robinson has participated in a total of 110 games in the National Football League and has been a starting player in 74 of them.

The announcement of Robinson joining the Panthers was made the day after the team signed offensive guards Damien Lewis and Robert Hunt.
