The Girls Tennis Team for the HighSchoolOT All-State in 2023
The fourth edition of the HighSchoolOT girls tennis all-state team includes 22 players who have been selected for the team for the second, third, or fourth time. This includes two players who have been chosen for the first team three times.
There are three teams: first, second, and third, each with 12 players. This is twice the usual size of a lineup. Additionally, there was a team of six Honorable Mentions. Players were chosen based on their individual performance in singles matches throughout the year, with no consideration for doubles play.
, and player of the year awards have been posted
The All-State teams, rankings, and player of the year awards from previous HSOT have been published.
The team’s roster is provided with their placement in the NCHSAA finish (if they qualified for the individual tournament) and their win-loss record according to MaxPreps or other sources. It is possible that some records may not include all results – for example, a singles runner-up may have 0 losses listed because the most recent W-L record was not available from a source.
Rennie Liu from Forestview has graduated as our first ever four-time all-state pick. She received the third team honor in her freshman year, moved up to second team in her sophomore and junior years, and finally earned first team recognition as a senior.
