The final rankings for Girls Swimming & Diving have been released, with Charlotte Country Day claiming the top spot.

Charlotte Country Day takes the top spot in the HighSchoolOT girls swimming & diving rankings for the first time. The team, known as the Buccaneers, were crowned champions in the N.C. Independent Schools Athletic Association in Division 1.

The rankings are determined by the performance in either the N.C. High School Athletic Association or N.C. Independent Schools Athletic Association championships. HSOT takes into account times from all classifications and associations, then combines them into a single state meet to determine the final rankings.

At certain occasions, there were equal scores among different categories. To determine the point allocations, the podium placements were used as tiebreakers (a 1A champion received the spot over a 4A athlete in second place for the same event). If the athletes remained tied, the points were divided between them.

If two teams were tied for a top-25 spot in the final rankings, the tiebreaker was determined by their respective finishes at the state championship.
