The Class of 2024 at NC State has successfully recruited highly skilled players from within the state, specifically talented individuals with a strong offensive prowess.
NC State’s football team had a busy National Signing Day this past Wednesday.
The day after UNC’s Keenan Jackson withdrew his commitment to the Tar Heels, the highly-rated wide receiver officially joined the Wolfpack. Jackson is among the trio of four-star recruits from North Carolina who have committed to NC State.
Terrell Anderson, a wide receiver for Grimsley, and Jonathan Paylor, an athlete for Cummings who is listed as a wide receiver by NC State, are both highly-rated four-star players.
NC State additionally secured commitments from a local running back, two local offensive tackles, a local safety, and a local linebacker.

High School
Terrell Anderson is a wide receiver from Grimsley High School.
At a height of 6 feet and 3 inches and weighing 184 pounds, Anderson is a highly rated wide receiver. In his final year of high school, he made 64 receptions for 1,114 yards and scored 14 touchdowns in 14 games. While there were worries that he might switch to Georgia, he ultimately remained committed to the Wolfpack.
Brody Barnhardt is a safety for Providence Day.
Barnhardt, a 5-foot-11, 170-pound safety from Providence Day, has been given a three-star rating. According to ESPN, he is the 11th best player in the state. Over the course of 13 games this season, Barnhardt made a total of 109 tackles, five of which were for a loss. He also had eight quarterback hurries, three interceptions, two pass deflections, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery.
Keenan Jackson, Wide Receiver, Weddington
North Carolina had a unexpected turn of events when Keenan Jackson changed his commitment from UNC to NC State. Jackson is a highly rated receiver with four stars and was named the MVP of the state championship while playing for Weddington. He had an impressive season, catching 102 passes for 1,704 yards and scoring 21 touchdowns.
Isiah Jones, Running Back, Rolesville
Jones became the initial recruit from within the state to commit to the Wolfpack on Wednesday. Standing at 5 feet and 10 inches tall and weighing 190 pounds, he holds a three-star rating. According to 247Sports.com, he is ranked as the 40th overall player in North Carolina and the 88th running back in the nation.
High School
Trent Mitchell, a student at Ashbrook High School, plays the position of Offensive Tackle.
Mitchell, a player at Ashbrook, holds a three-star rating and measures 6 feet 6 inches tall and weighs 290 pounds. As reported by 247Sports.com, he is ranked as the 39th player in the state of North Carolina.

Jonathan Paylor is a wide receiver at Cummings High School.
Paylor, a four-star athlete, is known for his speed and is projected to join the Wolfpack as a wide receiver. He measures at 5 feet 9 inches and weighs 170 pounds. In the current season, Paylor has accumulated 2,378 rushing yards and scored 30 touchdowns, in addition to 381 receiving yards and three touchdowns.
Tyler West, Offensive Tackle, Andrews
Tyler West is a three-star lineman who was skilled in both offense and defense during his time in high school. He is anticipated to take on the role of offensive tackle for the Wolfpack. Standing at 6-foot-5 and weighing 270 pounds, West is ranked as the No. 38 player in North Carolina by 247Sports.com.
Linebacker Zane Williams from Wake Forest.
Zane Williams, a three-star linebacker, holds the No. 47 spot in 247Sports.com’s rankings for North Carolina. Standing at 5 feet 11 inches and weighing 210 pounds, he recorded 96 total tackles and had 24.5 tackles for loss and four sacks in nine games this season. He also had eight pass deflections and blocked one field goal.
