The biggest indoor pickleball and golf center in NC is scheduled to open in Raleigh.

This summer, a new facility for indoor pickleball and golf will open in Raleigh, potentially making it the biggest of its kind in North Carolina.

Raleigh’s Pin Point location is scheduled to open towards the end of this year at 2201 S. Wilmington St., located south of downtown Raleigh.

According to its advertisement, Pin Point is the most expansive indoor location in North Carolina for playing pickleball and golf. It boasts 16 pickleball courts, 8 golf simulators, indoor areas for chipping and putting, a fully-stocked bar, a pro shop, and room for corporate events.

According to the Sports and Fitness Industry Association, Pickleball is experiencing rapid growth and is currently the fastest-growing sport in the nation. This game incorporates aspects from tennis, badminton, ping-pong, racquetball, and volleyball.

Players use paddles to hit a plastic ball with holes over a 34-inch-high net until one side is unable to return the ball or breaks a rule. WRAL News provides a comprehensive tutorial on how to play.

Even though pickleball courts are appearing in various parks in the Triangle region, a few players expressed to WRAL News that there is a need for additional courts.

You can stay updated on construction progress by following Pin Point on Instagram and Facebook.
