The fourth-annual HighSchoolOT softball all-state team features 47 athletes making an appearance on the team for at least the second time, led by 12 three-time selections. They are: Southern Nash’s Anna Dickinson, Charlotte Christian’s Anna Hinde, Wayne Christian’s Ella Fox, Northwest Guilford’s Bel Varadi, Camden County’s Carlyn Tanis, West Rowan’s Emma Clarke, Washington’s Emma Orr, Panther Creek’s Jolyna and Layla Lamar, Robbinsville’s Zoie Shuler, Richlands’ Mackenzie Goin, and Fred T. Foard’s Riley Vogel.

There is a 25-player first, second, and third team, each with at least two catchers, six infielders, four outfielders, five two-way players, three pitchers, and one utility or designated player. The final four spots on each team do not have position requirements, allowing for the possibility of three catchers or five pitchers, etc. to make the same team. There are also 50 honorable mention spots that have no position requirements.
