The 2024 HighSchoolOT All-State Boys Tennis Team

The fourth-annual HighSchoolOT boys tennis all-state team features 20 athletes making an appearance on the team for at least the second time, led by our first four-time selections, seniors  Shaurya Bharadwaj of Providence Day and Isaac Szilagyi of Cannon School.

There is a first, second, and third team with 12 players each (or two times the size of a usual lineup). Players were selected based on their singles play from throughout the year. Six players were named honorable mention.

The team is listed below with postseason finish (if qualified for the individual tournament) and win-loss record according to MaxPreps or other sources. The N.C. Independent Schools Athletic Association does not host an individual championship.

The following athletes now have multiple appearances on the HSOT all-state boys tennis team in their careers, with Bharadwaj becoming the first four-time first-team selection. Szilagyi and Terry Sanford’s Drew Hedgecoe have made the first team three times.
