The 2023-24 NCHSAA team state champions in every sport

The 2023-24 NCHSAA team state champions in every sport

With the N.C. High School Athletic Association athletic season now done, we look back on the titles won by each school in each classification.

Note that in some sports, the NCHSAA combines classifications for some championships if too few schools participate. The girls wrestling champion, for instance, was won by 4A Lumberton but had schools from all classes. The 1A/2A indoor track & field titles were won by 2A T.W. Andrews on the boys’ side but 1A Swain County on the girls’ side.

Marvin Ridge had the most titles among 4A schools, while Dudley and Lake Norman Charter tied in 3A. Seaforth, in its first year with a senior class, led 2A with three titles. Swain County led 1A with four, the most of any school in the state this year.
