HighSchoolOT has released its preseason boys soccer rankings for the 2024 North Carolina high school season.

HSOT has two sets of rankings: a statewide Top 25 and top 15s for each of North Carolina’s six area codes. Members of any of these four associations — N.C. High School Athletic Association, N.C. Independent Schools Athletic Association, N.C. Christian Schools Association, N.C. Homeschool Athletic Commission — are eligible.

Wesleyan Christian, also the leader out of the 336 area code, is at the top of the preseason rankings for North Carolina.

The Trojans return six all-region players from last fall’s 24-1-1 team that fell in the NCISAA 4A championship game on PKs to Rabun Gap of Georgia.

Right behind them is West Forsyth, who was the No. 1 team in the state entering the postseason. The Titans bring back five all-region players.
