In three months, the Panthers will be skating at PNC Arena in a preseason game. The NHL season waits for no one, not even a franchise winning the Cup for the first time.

The Hurricanes, who have an eventful off-season ahead with first-time general manager Eric Tulsky and a bevy of free agents, announced the schedule for their six preseason games, including two against the Panthers.

Ticket information will be released later.

EXHIBITION SCHEDULE

Sept. 24 at Tampa Bay, 7 p.m.

Sept. 27 vs. Florida, 7 p.m. (PNC Arena)

Sept. 28 at Florida, 7 p.m.

Oct. 2 vs. Nashville, 7 p.m. (PNC Arena)

Oct. 4 vs. Tampa Bay, 7 p.m. (PNC Arena)

Oct. 5 at Nashville, 7 p.m.
