Every year, HighSchoolOT offers comprehensive playoff predictions for the NCHSAA’s seeded playoffs. This autumn, we are giving these projections for the football playoffs in all divisions to HSOT Insiders.

The projections rely on the RPI system, which is continuously updated instead of once a week.

Playoff Dates

On Saturday, October 28, the official brackets were released by NCHSAA.

On Friday, November 3rd, the first round will take place at the location of the higher ranked team.

On Friday, November 10th, the second round will take place at the location of the higher seeded team.

On Friday, November 17th, the third round will take place at the location of the higher seeded team.

On Friday, November 24th, the Fourth Round will take place at the location of the higher seeded team.

“On Friday, December 1st, the Regional Finals will take place at the location of the higher seed team.”

The state championships will take place on the weekend of December 8-9, with both UNC and N.C. State hosting two title games each.
