HighSchoolOT releases detailed playoff predictions for the seeded playoffs of the NCHSAA every year. This autumn, we are exclusively offering these projections for the boys basketball playoffs across all divisions to HSOT Insiders.

Predictions are influenced by the RPI system, which is continuously updated instead of on a weekly basis.

Newest predictions for playoffs in each division

Playoff Dates

The start of Conference Tournaments is on February 19, 2024.

On February 23rd, 2024, the Conference Tournaments will conclude.

On February 24, 2024, the NCHSAA released the official brackets.

On Tuesday, February 27th, the First Round will take place at the higher seeded team’s location.

On Friday, March 1st, the Second Round of the tournament will take place at the location of the higher seeded team.

On Tuesday, March 5th, there will be a Third Round at the location of the higher seed.

“Friday, March 8th will be the fourth round of the tournament, taking place at the location of the higher seeded team.”

March 11-16 – Regional Finals and State Championships will take place at Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial Coliseum, located at Wake Forest University.
