Apr. 5, 10:38 p.m. – Ewetade made a surprise commitment on Saturday, choosing the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. The edge defender previously released a top five of Notre Dame, NC State, Georgia, Florida State, and Alabama. Ewetade has turned heads of late with his rapidly growing recuriting presence. Recently, he was ranked as the No. 36 rising senior prospect in America by On3. App State, Duke, and NC State were interested out of the local schools. Duke was the first Power 4 program to offer Ewetade in February of 2024. His offer from Notre Dame came nearly 12 months later.
