Panther Creek WR Nare Means commits to Charlotte
The University of North Carolina at Charlotte’s football program received an in-state commitment from a Wake County athlete on Monday night.
Panther Creek High School rising senior wide receiver Nare Means took to his X account to announce his pledge to the 49ers.
Means became a college prospect this offseason after receiving an offer from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. After that opportunity, Means picked up offers from Catawba, Maine, Morgan State, Charlotte, Livingstone, and NC Central.
As a junior, Means recorded 57 receptions for 967 yards and seven touchdowns. He had 1,028 all-purpose yards. As a sophomore, he had 12 receptions for 185 yards and four touchdowns.
Panther Creek finished the 2023 season with a 3-7 overall record and missed the N.C. High School Athletic Association’s 4A state playoffs.
