Palisades All-State LB Kendric Davis commits to East Carolina
On Saturday, an athletic linebacker from Charlotte announced his decision to continue his education and football journey in Greenville.
Palisades High School rising senior Kendric Davis said in a post to his X account that he is committed to East Carolina University.
He is one of four in-state commits to the Pirates so far in the 2025 class.
Davis is listed at 6-foot-2 and 205 pounds on Palisades’ Hudl page.
Over his recruitment, Davis received verbal offers from Charlotte, Alabama A&M, the Pirates, Liberty, Appalachian State, Marshall, Temple, James Madison, Army, Delaware, Johnson C. Smith, Howard, Eastern Kentucky, and Kennesaw State.
He is a two-time all-conference player in the So Meck 4A Conference, once while at Harding University High School and then in his junior year at Palisades.
Davis was an honorable mention selection to the 2023 HighSchoolOT All-State Football Team. He compiled 119 tackles (11.9/game), 10 tackles for a loss, 5 sacks, one interception, four pass breakups, and six forced fumbles as a junior.
Palisades finished the 2023 season with a 3-7 overall record.
