Otavio Oliveira, a freshman at Providence, has received six offers from Division I schools.
On January 18, Otavio Oliveira, a freshman wide receiver at Providence High School, shared on his X account that the University of North Carolina at Charlotte has become the sixth program to offer him a spot.
On Halloween, Oliveira received an offer from Houston Christian University, making them the first school to do so. Since then, the freshman has also received offers from Boston College, Southern Methodist, East Carolina, and Arkansas State.
The member of the 2027 class who plays as a receiver is documented as being six feet in height and weighing 150 pounds on the varsity roster for the Panthers.
During autumn, he made 41 catches for a total of 672 yards and scored six touchdowns. These passes were thrown by Jackson Debe, a sophomore quarterback who also has offers from FBS teams.
The 2023 season for Providence concluded with a 5-6 record overall and a 3-3 record in the Southwestern 4A Conference. In the first round of the N.C. High School Athletic Association’s 4A state playoffs, the Panthers were defeated by eventual state champions, Weddington.
