Leading 17-10, the Northern Guilford defense needed one final stop.
It came quickly as Anders Mitchell’s first pass on the ensuing Northwest drive landed in the hands of a leaping Kevin Willoughby for an interception.
The turnover all but sealed the victory. Northern is now 4-0 in the Metro Conference and hosts Page next week.
