An incoming defensive lineman to Asheville School has committed to Dartmouth.

Peter Owolabi announced his decision to play for the Big Green on his X account on July 8. Dartmouth has a Division I FCS program that competes in the Ivy League.

Owolabi is from Canada and previously played at Mt. Zion Prep in Maryland. He was a senior at Mt. Zion last year.

According to his X account, Owolabi is 6-foot-3 and 272 pounds. He has 34-inch arms and carries a 3.9 GPA.

His verbal offer from Dartmouth came on May 31. He has not posted about any other offers.

Asheville School is coming off of an 8-3 season in 2023 that saw the Blues win the N.C. Independent Schools Athletic Association’s Division II state championship.
