The matchups for the N.C. High School Athletic Association girls soccer state championships are set for this weekend.

Soccer state championships will be held at the Mecklenburg County Sportsplex at Matthews on Friday and Saturday. It marks the first time in NCHSAA history that the girls soccer championships will be held in the Charlotte area.

One game will be played on Friday night with three games scheduled for Saturday.

Regional championship games were played on Thursday at the higher seed. Winners from the east region will meet winners from the west region in the state championship.
