— Some of the best college basketball teams in the country are visiting Raleigh this week for the 2025 NCAA Tournament.

Two No. 1 seeds in the tournament – Duke in the East region and Florida in the West region – are set to play at the Lenovo Center this coming week.

Atlantic Coast Conference champion Duke (31-3, 19-1 ACC) will play Friday against the winner of the play-in game between 16 seeds American and Mount St. Mary’s.

If Duke advances in the first round, the Blue Devils would play either No. 8 seed Mississippi State (21-12, 8-10 SEC) or No. 9 seed Baylor (19-14, 10-10 Big 12).

Baylor features former Duke guard Jeremy Roach, who is fourth on the team in scoring at 10.3 points per game. Roach played at Duke from 2020 to 2024.

Florida senior guard Walter Clayton Jr. was named to the first-team All-SEC team after averaging 17.4 points per game and 4.4 assists per game.

The Gators have played a program-record seven games this season with both teams ranked in the Top 10.

Also in the West region, defending national champion Connecticut (23-10, 14-6 Big East) and head coach Dan Hurley earned an eight seed . The Huskies will play No. 9 seed Oklahoma (20-13, 6-12 SEC). The winner will likely play Florida in the second round.

  • UConn: Six
