NC State has officially signed Grimsley High School’s 4-star wide receiver Terrell Anderson, putting an end to any speculation of him potentially changing his commitment.

There was speculation in the autumn that Terrell Anderson, a four-star wide receiver from Grimsley High School, might change his commitment from NC State. However, he solidified his commitment on National Signing Day.

The Wolfpack’s football program tweeted that Anderson has officially committed to NC State by signing a national letter of intent, eliminating the chance of him attending a different university.

There has been a lot of talk about the potential for a change in situation, specifically in regards to Georgia. In October, the Bulldogs presented an offer to Anderson and in November, he made an official trip to visit the university.

However, Anderson ultimately remained committed to his August pledge to the Wolfpack.

Most prominent recruiting websites have given Anderson a four-star rating. According to On3.com, he is ranked as the third-best player in North Carolina, the 16th-best wide receiver in the nation, and the 79th overall player in the Class of 2024.

At a height of 6 feet and 3 inches and weighing 184 pounds, Anderson had 64 receptions for 1,114 yards and 14 touchdowns in 14 games during his final year. He also accumulated 1,534 all-purpose yards, with an average of 109.6 yards per game.

Anderson was given credit for a touchdown on one occasion while playing on special teams. He accumulated 278 yards on kick returns and 138 yards on punt returns.

Anderson is the top-rated recruit to commit to the Wolfpack from the 2024 class.

Anderson was offered admission to NC State and Georgia, as well as several other schools including Auburn, Campbell, Charlotte, Cincinnati, East Carolina, Florida State, Georgia Tech, Louisville, Michigan, North Carolina, Penn State, South Florida, Tennessee, UCF, Virginia, Virginia Tech, Washington, and West Virginia.
