Millbrook 4-star Colt Langdon reclassifies to 2024, commits to Butler
Colt Langdon, a 4-star star boys basketball recruit at Millbrook High School, will forgo his senior season.
In a ceremony at the school on Wednesday evening, Langdon announced that he is graduating a year early to join Butler University’s basketball program.
This upcoming year was set to be his last with the Wildcats. As both a sophomore and junior, Langdon was named second team all-state by HighSchoolOT.
He reported 21 offers via social media, and narrowed his final three to the Bulldogs, LSU, and Notre Dame.
Langdon averaged 26.4 points per game, and an even 10.0 rebounds per contest as a junior. Millbrook advanced to at least the third round of the state playoffs in all three of his seasons with the program.
He finishes his high school career with 1,758 career points scored, 738 of which came last season –– both marks are schools records. His 42 points scored against Broughton High School in December of 2023 was the most scored in a single game in program history.
Langdon was named player of the year for the 4A Northern Athletic Conference in 2023 and 2024. Butler, a member of the Big East Conference, is coached by Thad Matta and finished with a 18-15 overall record last season including a berth to the NIT.
