The NC Courage took a loss on the road versus the Houston Dash 3-0. The loss puts the Courage at 5-0-7 so far into the season.
In the 44th minute, Dash player Ramona Bachmann got the scoring started just before halftime to give Houston the 1-0 lead at the break.
In the second half, Barbara Olivieri added a goal for Houston in the 68th minute to get the Dash to 2-0.
Diana Ordonez added Hosuton’s third goal in the 78th minute.
There was a bright side for head coach Sean Nahas’ team. Kaleigh Kurtz made NWSL history with the most consecutive minutes played, becoming the new iron woman of the league. The previous record was 6,483 minutes played.
The Courage return to the pitch on the road on June 8th when they visit the Portland Thorns.
