Jordan takes down Vance County 28-6 in the HSOT Jamboree

Jordan High School wrapped up its 2024 preseason with a 28-6 win over Vance County in the HighSchoolOT Jamboree. The game was played at Wake Forest High School.

Omaris McMiller go things started with a 62-yard interception return for a touchdown. Vance County had made some nice progress on the first drive, but McMiller read a quick screen to a wideout perfectly.

Eastern Michigan commit Amareon Blue scored 69-yard rushing touchdown with 10 minutes left in the first half.

With three minutes left in the first half, Vance County managed to answer with a 20-yard passing touchdown from Javion Vines-Holder to Andre Perry. The extra point was no good.

On Jordan’s next drive, Amareon Blue had a 61-yard rush called back due to a hold.

Landon Melton hit Nicholas Brye for a six-yard touchdown with 8.1 seconds left in the first half. Jordan took a 21-6 lead.

Jordan opened the second half with an interception thrown to Tyrek Robinson. Vance took over on its own 22-yard line. The Vipers were unable to capitalize on the opportunity.

The Falcons later scored on a one-yard touchdown rush by Damien Hayes to make it a 28-6 game with five minutes left.
