Jack Britt takes No. 1 in final girls wrestling team-tournament rankings for 2024-25

Jack Britt takes No. 1 in final girls wrestling team-tournament rankings for 2024-25

Jack Britt ends the year as No. 1 team in HighSchoolOT’s statewide high school girls wrestling team-tournament statewide rankings for the 2024-25 season.

The Buccaneers won the N.C. High School Athletic Association championship.

The HighSchoolOT rankings follow the NCHSAA scores with a few tiebreaking rules. When teams are tied for a spot, the first tiebreaker are the number of individual state champions. If equal, the second tiebreaker are the number of indivdual finalists. If still equal, the third tiebreaker is the number of state qualifiers. The fourth tiebreaker is dual-team head-to-head record (if applicable) and the fifth and final tiebreaker is dual-team winning percentage.

Jack Britt is followed by Hoke County, Laney, Rosewood, and Havelock to round out the top five.

Lumberton was last year’s No. 1 team. This is the second year of HSOT girls wrestling rankings and the second year of official NCHSAA girls wrestling state championships.
